Practise dosage calculations every day in short blocks, because they are a common weak point in licensing exams and in real practice. Work through tablet, liquid, weight-based and infusion-rate problems, and show each unit conversion on paper before you choose an answer. Our free drug dosage calculations practice set is listed for NCLEX-RN, the NMC CBT and Gulf exams, with no sign-up needed. The questions are not official exam material and were not each reviewed by a licensed nurse, so check any answer you are unsure about against your course notes or your clinical reference. Keep a short error log with the formula you missed, and redo those items after three days. Once your accuracy is steady, time yourself, because the exam is timed. Track your errors by type, such as unit or rounding errors, so you know which habit to fix first.
