Ask first whether you would be charged any fee. Fair recruitment means the employer pays, so an agency that asks for money before a written offer needs careful checking. Check whether the agency is on the official licensed list for your home country, and ask for the offer and the contract in writing. Be careful with promises of B2 German in three months or a Blue Card nurse visa for Germany, because both appear as warning signs on our fake-agent check. The practice questions are free, but they are not official exam material. A good agency can explain its service in writing, with its fees, its licence number and the employer it works for.
