Learn words in groups tied to a ward task, such as giving medication, taking a history or handover, rather than from an alphabetical list. Say each word aloud with its article and plural form, and write one short example sentence for each. Our ward vocabulary list gives meanings, examples and pronunciation, and our drills cover German for B1 and B2 nursing. Do the drills daily for about 10 minutes, and repeat any word you miss twice in one session. Review the list once a week to keep the words active. The vocabulary pages are free, with no sign-up needed. Drills alone do not train conversation, so add speaking practice with a teacher or a language partner who can ask you to describe a care task. Recording yourself reading a handover note once a week will show your progress faster than another list.
