How can I improve my speed in OET reading?

Speed in OET reading comes from practising the question types, not from reading faster. Read the question first, mark the key term, then scan the passage for that term and read only that part closely. Practise in timed sets of the same length as the real test, and track your time per set. When you run over time, check which question type costs you the most minutes, and practise that type on its own. Our OET reading practice is free, with no sign-up needed, and it trains the same habit: find the answer before you read every line. The questions are not official exam material, so use them to build your routine, then check your progress with official materials before you book. Review every wrong answer the same day, write the reason in one line and redo the item after two days.
