Start with the destination, because each one has its own licensing body and its own English and exam steps. Our destination pages list the exams that apply to each country, so read the page for your target before you compare others. Then check each exam and its requirements on the official regulator's site, and note the date you checked, because rules change. Use the list to build one timeline that shows the English test, the licensing exam, the document checks and the visa step in the right order. Keep one copy of each document and each result in a folder. Our country guides explain the steps for each route, and the checklists give you a list you can tick off. Avoid anyone who asks you to pay before you have that list in writing, because a legitimate employer or agency will show you the steps first.
