A. The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

The Nursing and Midwifery Council is the UK regulator for nurses trained outside the UK: you apply through NMC Online, and the NMC issues your PIN once it has approved your registration application. An NHS trust is only your employer and supports you through the OSCE. Pearson VUE simply delivers the CBT at its test centres. The visa office decides your right to live and work in the UK, not your professional registration. Always confirm requirements on the NMC website.

D. It runs the NCLEX, the national licensure exam used by every state board

NCSBN runs the NCLEX, the national licensure exam that every state board of nursing uses. It does not issue visas; the visa is employer-sponsored and needs a VisaScreen certificate. It does not grant licences, which come from state boards. Credential checks and VisaScreen certificates are TruMerit's work, not NCSBN's.

C. DataFlow

SCFHS uses DataFlow for primary source verification, which checks your documents directly with the issuing institutions. TruMerit (formerly CGFNS) serves US state boards and the Nursing Council of New Zealand. NNAS assesses credentials for most Canadian provinces. Pearson VUE delivers exams such as the NCLEX, not document verification for Saudi Arabia.
