The NMC CBT is a computer-based test of clinical knowledge, and the OSCE is a practical exam made up of stations where you show clinical skills. The NMC sets the exact format and the pass standards, so confirm them on its website before you plan your study, and treat any change you read about in a forum as unconfirmed until you see it there. For the knowledge test, practise in short sessions and review each wrong answer with its rationale. For the OSCE, practise your skills aloud with a study partner and time each station, so you learn the steps in order and talk through them as you work. Our clinical nursing practice includes licensing-style questions for the NMC CBT, and our exam page for the NMC CBT and OSCE lists the format. The questions are not official exam material, so treat them as practice only.
